Welcome to the website of the Ohio
University Psychology and Social Work Clinic (PSWC). The PSWC is an
outpatient clinic that is supported by the Departments of Psychology
and Social Work and was established as a clinical training site for
the graduate students of these departments. The PSWC mission is to pursue
excellence in the training of graduate students through opportunities
to engage in cutting edge research and progressive treatments. The PSWC
strives to emphasize the clinical application of psychological research
in order to benefit the individuals and families in our community and
region.
The PSWC offers a range of psychological services to the
University and surrounding community at moderate prices, for which community
members as well as students are eligible. While timely and high quality
service will be provided, there may be occasions when service requests
may be declined or waiting lists utilized as a result of the limitations
that accompany a training clinic. If the PSWC is unable to meet the
needs of a client, a referral will be made to an appropriate service
provider in the community.
