To receive the special room rate, call the Amerihost Inn at (740) 594-3000. Be sure to mention the Ohio SPR conference to receive the special conference rate. We are also on the verge of procuring a block of rooms at the Ohio University Inn and Conference Center (ouinn.com), also at the special conference rate of $85 per night (total, not per person). We need to wait for the university to release some rooms that they will not be using for that weekend, so we are currently on a waitlist. We should know by 4/9/04 as to how many rooms will be available. At that time, if you want to switch from Amerihost to the O.U.Inn, feel free to do so. The O.U.Inn is a ½ mile away from Porter Hall; also, cancellations at Amerihost are accepted until 24 hours before check in time (4pm). We will let you know when they become available and how many rooms are left. The O.U. Inn can be reached at (740) 593-6661. Alternatively, for students who are strapped for cash, our graduate students will be happy to provide free accommodations in their humble abodes.
