Jack Arbuthnot has testified before state and national legislatures, offered expert testimony in over two dozen criminal and civil cases, and served on numerous state and national agencies and boards. He served as a consulting editor for two of the American Psychological Association's most prestigious journals, Journal of Consulting and Clinical Psychology and Psychological Assessment, and is currently on the editorial board of Family and Conciliation Courts Review. With Dr. Donald Gordon, also in the Intervention Design and Outcome Evaluation program, Dr. Arbuthnot has developed award-winning video-based educational interventions for divorcing parents and children that are in use in over 1500 locations worldwide. He was a member of family mediation delegations to the People's Republic of China, Russia, and Poland, and was leader of the latter two. His research evaluating interventions for divorcing families is locally, nationally, and internationally recognized and has provided direct benefits to the many divorcing families in our community and across the country.
