Research Interests:

Evidence-Based Assessment and Treatment of Adolescents with ADHD

Dr. Evans is interested in developing effective and practical interventions for adolescents with ADHD and related problems. His primary focus is in the development and evaluation of school-based interventions that include family components and may be coordinated with medication treatments. Multicomponent treatments are emphasized that address the breadth of problems experienced by this population including substance use, academic impairment, vocational challenges, and difficulties forming relationships with peers and adults.
